Beach Blanket Bingo

We made it to the beach . . . and back again.  Sunset Beach, NC turned out to be just the best.  80 degrees and clear every day, families and old people, lots of sand and tide pools.  A great time for everybody. 

Little A looks forlornly out to sea . . .

Crashin' C learns to bike in optimal conditions,

And Little A learns to golf similarly.

All in all, good friends, good pretzels . . . what more could you ask for.

Oh, and a shot from Carowinds the week before at the company picnic.  Little A was very happy to meet Dora the, um, Ex-plo-ruh.  Vaminos!

We survived a (postponed) fifth birthday party on Saturday.  Good times were had by all, and no one was clubbed during the traditional pinata hazard.  Here's Cal, Mom and a red Lego cake:
